Good Denver Concerts: The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks

by David Schlichter

After selling out Red Rocks last summer, the Avett Brothers are returning to the iconic outdoor venue for two nights of shows this weekend.  I’m sure you already know about the Avett Brothers because you read the article I posted about them two years ago, but just in case you didn’t have a chance to read  it…

Seth and Scott Avett are two brothers from North Carolina that totally bring it when it comes to live music.  Their boot-stompin’ bluegrassy tunes are full of energy, harmony, soulful lyrics, and passion.  Don’t be surprised if you find yourself out of your seat dancing the whole night long, singing along to songs you didn’t even know before the night started, chock-full of endorphins, and overwhelmed with the feeling that there are some things in this world that are just right if you go to one of the shows.

The Avett Brothers are soon to release their latest album, The Carpenter, this fall, and one of the songs from the new record is available to stream now on NPR.  Get your tickets now, while they are still available, to the shows at Red Rocks, and enjoy!
