Good Denver Nachos: Racine’s

I love Good nachos, and, thankfully, there are lots of places to get Good nachos in Denver.  Vine St. Pub and Brewery, Watercourse, The Hornet, and Cap City Tavern are just a few of my favorites that come to mind, and I’m adding another restaurant to the list: Racine’s.

The “Mile High Nachos” from Racine’s are delicious and plentiful.  Cheese, pico de gallo, jalapenos, beans, black olives, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa don’t just come on top of the nachos, they come throughout them.  One of my biggest pet peeves when I order nachos is when the nachos come with toppings that are only on top–and loads of bare chips lie in misery just below the surface, hoping that they’ll be one of the few lucky ones to be used to scrape up stray salsa.  Not so at Racine’s.  Nearly all of the chips get topping exposure, and they come broiled to perfection so that even the inner toppings get melted.

At $9.99 for a hefty plate, the nachos at Racine’s are reasonably priced, plentiful, and, again, delicious.  Try them out in addition to an entree from one of the most extensive menus in Denver!  Racine’s is located at 650 Sherman St.
